Where flooring stores meet qualified installers

Stores pay a flat platform fee per job: $49 for the first flooring type, plus $30 for each additional type on mixed-flooring jobs. Jobs with total installer pay under $1,000 are discounted to a flat $25 fee. High-volume stores can subscribe to Store Pro ($149/mo or $1,499/yr, includes 10 jobs/mo with $14.99 overage) or Store Pro+ ($499/mo or $4,999/yr, includes 50 jobs/mo with $9.99 overage), which replace the per-job fee.

Installers pay nothing to receive and accept offers. An optional Installer Pro upgrade ($9.99/mo) is available for priority matching and a verified Pro badge. All subscriptions can be canceled anytime from the app.

Yes. Your business information, documents, and financial details are encrypted in transit and at rest, and are only shared with the parties needed to operate the service (for example, the installer or store you've matched with, payment processors, or our admin team for compliance review). Job addresses are shown as approximate locations until an installer accepts an offer. We follow industry-standard security practices.

When you post a job, FloorConnect first checks every installer's state coverage, flooring skills, and pay preferences to build a list of who's actually eligible. After a quick admin review of the job, our matching engine ranks the eligible installers by distance to the job, completed-install experience, reliability score (completion rate, acceptance rate, ratings), and how the job's pay compares to their minimums. Pro and Pro+ store jobs get a priority boost, so they reach top installers first. Offers then go out in waves — the highest-ranked installers get the first crack, and if no one accepts within the offer window, the next wave is invited automatically. Each installer has a private window to accept or decline, and the first to accept gets the job.

If no installers are available in your area for a specific job type, the job stays open and you'll be notified. You can adjust the pay rate or expand the coverage area to reach more installers. Our system also suggests close matches that may be a fit.

Yes, you can cancel a job at any time before an installer begins work. If an offer has already been accepted, reach out to the installer through in-app messaging first. Cancellation policies are designed to be fair to both parties.

Requirements vary by state. During onboarding, FloorConnect checks your state's licensing and insurance requirements and guides you through uploading the necessary documents. We track expiration dates and send reminders so you stay compliant.

Installers are paid directly by the store (off-platform, method of their choice — e.g., ACH, check, Venmo). FloorConnect collects our platform fee from the store via Stripe after the job is completed and verified. You can view completed jobs and payment details in your profile.
