How FloorConnect Matching Works (No Bidding)

Private offers in ranked waves — not a bid board. Here’s the matching flow from post to accept.

FloorConnect

When a flooring store posts a job on FloorConnect, the goal is simple: get a qualified independent installer on a clear scope without a public bidding war.

Eligibility first. FloorConnect checks installer state coverage, flooring skills, and pay preferences against the work order. Only eligible installers enter the pool.

Then ranking. Eligible installers are ranked using factors like distance to the job, completed-install experience, reliability signals from platform activity (such as completion and acceptance patterns), and how the job’s pay compares to the installer’s minimums. Pro and Pro+ store jobs can get a priority boost so they reach strong matches sooner.

Private offers in waves. The highest-ranked installers get the first private offer window. If no one accepts, the next wave is invited automatically. Each installer sees scope, photos, timing, and pay before accepting or declining. The first to accept within the window gets the job.

What FloorConnect is not. It is not a consumer lead marketplace and not a public bid board. Stores post B2B work. Installers decide on private offers. FloorConnect does not employ installers and does not install floors.

Fees. Stores see the market-based platform fee before posting and are charged after the job is completed and verified (or via Store Pro / Store Pro+). Installers receive offers free, with 0% commission on installer pay.
